Settings

Section "Settings" designed for individual configuration of the interface and parameters of user interaction with the Brusnika.LMS system.

This section presents three main subsections (tiles):

1. Notification Settings

This subsection allows you to flexibly manage the types of messages you want to receive from the system.

  • Event Type Management Using switches (toggles), you can enable or disable notifications for training assignments, tests, IDP I 360-degree feedback as well as the start or completion of courses and the addition of new comments.
  • System Limitations Some items (e.g., "Assignment 360 assessment") may have a note. "Set by moderator", meaning they cannot be modified by the user.
  • Email notifications Separate toggle switch "Send notifications to email" allows duplicating all important system messages to your email.
  • Preservation Any changes take effect only after pressing the button. "Save changes".

The mechanism works as follows. When a notification needs to be sent, the application first checks the general notification settings (in the application's general settings, accessible only to moderators). These have priority:

  • If "Disabled" is selected in the general settings, notifications will not be sent.
  • If Enabled is selected - notifications will be sent.
  • If At User's Discretion is selected, then Completed will be what is selected in each user's personal settings in this section.

2. Language Change

In this subsection, the user can select the most convenient interface language for the system.

  • Available languages The system supports 14 language versions, including Russian (RU)English (GB), German (DE), Chinese (CN), Kazakh (KZ), and others.
  • Search To quickly find the desired language, a search bar is provided at the top of the screen. The currently selected language is marked with a checkmark on a pink background.

3. Onboarding (System Guide)

This subsection opens an interactive welcome window and a brief guide to working in the application.

  • Training topics The guide contains step-by-step instructions on the most important topics: how to change the language, how to complete Learning or testing, and how to add a moderator (for administrative roles).
  • Display control At the bottom of the window, you can check the box. "Do not show again at startup"so that the manual does not open automatically every time you log into the system.

For navigation and quick return to the main page, a button is located in the upper right corner of the section. "Back".
