Introduction

1. A lesson is an educational module fromused whichto build courses and programs are assembled..

A lesson can only be part of a course or program. If thea course ourse consists of one lesson, then create athe lesson,lesson first, then add it to the course.  

2. Lessons can be in the following formats (only one option only)option):

  • Video tutorialLesson (pre-uploaded to YouTube, Vimeo, VK Video, RutubeRutube, or any other video hosting)hosting platform);

  • SCORM;

  • pdf (fore.g., example,presentations, presentation, instructionsinstructions, and other materials in pdfPDF format));

  • Longread. A longreadLongread can consist of onea single element or can combine all of these formats:

    • video,

    • audio,

    • image,

    • text.

For example, if you need to create an audio course: 

  • create a lesson in longread formatа, 
  • add an audio file to the longread 
  • create a course based on the lesson.

3. You can add an unlimited number ofUnlimited additional materials and links can be added to thea lesson.

Adding a lesson

1. To add a lesson,Lesson, click on the plus sign:

2. Fill in the fields:

  • Lesson titlename (required);
  • Lesson description;
  • Image;
  • Catalog section;
  • Select lesson format:
    • video - pre-upload to any video hosting.hosting platform.
    • scorm-SCORM package - can be loadeduploaded directly intoto the lesson using the Loadupload button.
    • pdfPDF - can be uploaded directly to the lesson in the lesson PDF Lesson field.
    • longread -  created directly insidewithin the lesson inusing a special editor.

3. Addf ifneeded, necessary:add:

  • Additional materials ofin any format.
  • Links. To internal or external sources.
  • Points.Score. HowThe manynumber of points will be awarded forupon completing the lesson. Points arecontribute included in the calculation ofto the overall rating.

Additional materials will be downloaded to the user'user’s device.

Actions with thea lesson

1. TheA lesson can be edited, deleted, exported or copied.

2. After creating a copy, the lesson is created with the same name and the word Copy before the name. The lesson is created in the Draft status.

3. ExportingLesson a lessonexport is used when it is necessary to save or transfer a lessonLesson from one portal to another. A lesson can be exported in Excelexcel format (only the text component)content only) or UDATA format (Allall lesson contents)content). The export format is set in Settingssettings - Applicationapplication settings - Otherother - Exportexport format.

Lesson statuses

Lessons have the following statuses:

  • Publication status: published; draft (saved without publication).
  • SuccessCompletion statuses: passed; failed.not Passedpassed. -passed Complete– the complete button pressed.is Failedclicked. -Not Completepassed – the complete button is not pressed. clicked.
