- Success Status: passed, failed. Passed - the "Complete" button has been clicked. Failed - the "Complete" button has not been clicked.
How lessons can combine completion and success statuses. For example, if you open a course and click "Complete Course," but within the lesson, you do not click "Complete," then the lesson within the course will be marked as completed but not passed.
Important information about lessons
IMPORTANT! Please read carefully!
The logic of building educational elements in the application is as follows:
The structure of the course is as follows: a course consists of any number of lessons and any number of tests. Employees have access to courses and tests only; lessons are not available to employees. Courses are made up of lessons and/or tests. Tests can be accessed independently or as part of courses.
If your course consists of a single lesson, you need to create the lesson first and then create the course based on that single lesson. Essentially, a lesson is a module from which courses are "assembled."
The term "module" refers to any components of a course (lesson, test) or a program (course, test, lesson, event).
Lessons can be in the following formats:
-
Video Lesson: Pre-uploaded to platforms like YouTube, Vimeo, VK Video, Rutube, or any other video hosting site.
-
SCORM
-
PDF: For instance, presentations, instructions, and other methodological materials in PDF format.
-
Longread: A longread can consist of a single element, such as:
-
Video
-
Audio
-
Image
-
Text It can also combine all of these formats.
-
For example, if you need to create an audio lesson: create a lesson in the Longread format, add an audio file to the Longread, and based on that lesson, create a Course.
You can add an unlimited number of additional materials and links to the lesson.
Lessons, tests, and courses can be assigned to sections set in the application settings. When creating a course, you need to first select a section; then tests and lessons from that same section will be chosen. If the section of a course is changed, its program will need to be reassembled.
Adding a lesson via import
When you click on the “Import” element, the lesson import card opens:
Download the template to add a lesson first:
The template looks like this:
It contains detailed instructions on how to fill it out.
After filling out the template, place it in the upload field and click the "Upload" button.
The lesson will appear in the catalog and will have the "Draft" status:
Next, click on the "Edit" element and publish the lesson through the lesson addition card by clicking on the "Publish" button.
If necessary, you can make any additional changes to the lesson. Also add a SCORM course instead of a video.
