Section Module Activation In the Brusnika.LMS control panel, it is designed for flexible configuration of the platform's functionality to suit the company's tasks. The moderator can enable or disable certain tools, optimizing the interface and available features for users.

Description of the "Modules" section

Section is located in the menu System Management -> Modules. The management interface includes:

  • Global switches: buttons "Enable all" I "Turn off all", allowing bulk modification of activation settings
  • Grouping by categories all tools are divided into four main blocks: "Content Creation", "Learning Management", "Application Settings", and "Additional Modules".
  • Status of the module: Active modules are marked with a red checkmark on the right side of the line. If a module is basic, below its name it says: Basic module, always enabled - such elements cannot be deactivated.

1. Content Creation

  • Surveys - creating and conducting surveys

  • Knowledge Base - storage and structuring of educational materials.

2. Learning Management

  • Purposes Management of the process of issuing courses to users.
  • Assessment 360 - conducting a 360-degree competency assessment
  • Competencies - working with job profiles and skills.
  • IDP - creating individual development plans
  • Sub-accounts - management of child accounts.
  • Groups - combining users into groups for mass actions

3. Application Settings

  • Certificates - automatic generation of documents about completion of training
  • Feedback Form (Automated Learning System) - specific learning settings.
  • Theme formatting - customization of the portal's visual style.
  • Gamification - rating systems, points and achievements.
  • Messages - internal notifications and chats.

4. Additional Modules

  • Demo - install or remove demo data for system familiarization
  • External Learning - creating isolated external portals for training partners and clients
  • Data migration - tools for data migration between CRM/ERP systems.
  • Nika.AI - AI-powered intelligent assistants.

Note: Modules such as "Catalog courses", "My tests", "Catalog lessons" and "Reports" are basic and always remain active to ensure system functionality.

Demo data

Section Demo data The Brusnika.LMS control panel is designed for quickly filling the platform with test content. This allows a moderator to familiarize themselves with the system's functionality and see how courses, tests, and reports are displayed without having to create them manually from scratch.

Only users with permissions have access to manage demo data. Moderator:

The section interface is as simple as possible and contains two main control buttons:

  • Install - when clicked, the system automatically generates and loads a set of training materials, structures, and settings.
  • "Delete" - allows you to clear the system of all previously installed demonstration data with a single click, so you can start working with a clean slate.

What is included in the demo data?

When this section is activated, the following elements will be added to your system:

  1. Training content:

    • Special lessons, visually explaining the principles of working with the platform.
    • Control Test, created based on these lessons.
    • Full-fledged training Course Welcome, combining theory and testing.
  2. Knowledge base:

    • Course "Welcome" is duplicated as Material in the Knowledge Base and is placed on a separate shelf to demonstrate the file storage structure.

Important: To make Section available in the control menu, ensure that in the "Modules" subsection (Block "Additional modules") the toggle switch next to the item is activated. Demo.

Data migration

Section Data transfer Brusnika.LMS is intended for migrating accumulated information between different CRM/ERP systems, as well as for transitioning from the marketplace version to a locally installed version.

General Information and Conditions

  • What is transferred: The system allows you to transfer all accumulated data, including course assignments, completion history, and statistics.
  • Cost: the service is paid. The current cost can be checked in the "My Plan" section on the "Support" tab. After payment, the service is active for one month, during which the number of transfers is unlimited.
  • Data security: data in the source system remains untouched, while in the target portal it is overwritten with each new transfer run.

Interface and Section Access

Section is available to the moderator via the path System Management -> Data MigrationFor the tab to appear in the menu, the module must be activated in the "Additional modules" subsection.

The following elements are presented in the interface:

  1. Field "Target portal key" here the unique identifier of the system into which the data will be copied is inserted.
  2. Button "Transfer data": starts the information copying process.
  3. Button "Transfer License" Used to transfer rights to use the system.

Instructions for Performing the Transfer

To successfully migrate data, perform the following steps:

  1. Target portal preparation install an empty LMS on the target portal and copy its key (located in "Application Settings" -> "Other").
  2. Key input insert the copied key into the corresponding field in original system.
  3. User Mapping after entering the key, four columns will appear in the interface for linking profiles of the source and target portals.
    • Drag user records to set Matching between them.
    • Important: If you do not perform the mapping, the transfer will occur, but the linking of assignments and results to users will be incorrect.
  4. Running migration: click the button Transfer data.
  5. License Transfer performed as a separate, final stage after verifying the correctness of the transferred data.
    • Note: after transferring the license to the new LMS, it will be deactivated on the old portal.

System

Section System The Brusnika.ЛМС control panel is designed to manage external learning portals (External LMS). This functionality allows you to organize Learning for users who do not have access to the company's internal CRM system (partners, clients, or external employees).

External LMS - LMS system, a copy of the internal LMS system in terms of functionality. Located on a separate website. Learners of the external LMS system do not have access to the company's internal CRM.

Internal LMS - An LMS system located within the company's CRM system.  

External LMS systems can be created unlimited quantity.

The number of external LMS users is unlimited..

Access to the section

Section is in the menu System Management on the tab System. For this tab to be available, the module must be activated in the "Modules" subsection. External Learning.

Creating an External LMS

To launch a new external portal in the block External Local Backbone Networks required:

  1. In the field Portal name (email) Enter email address.
    • Important: This email will be used as the moderator login for the external system. The name (email) cannot be changed after the portal is created.
  2. Press the button + Add.

After that, the system will automatically create a copy of the portal on a separate resource and generate access data.

External Portal Management

For each created portal in the list, a management card is displayed with the following information:

  • Access credentials:
    • Key: Unique Portal Key
    • Pwd: Automatically generated password for the moderator's first login.
  • Ways to invite users:
    • Direct link: Link for self-registration of external users on the portal.
    • Telegram: Link to chatbot@brusnikaLMS_bot) to undergo training via messenger.
  • Copying links Buttons Invitation link I "Telegram" allow you to quickly copy the desired address to send to users.

General scheme of external portal training organization:

  1. Create an external portal in the External section Learning. Creating external portals is only available to moderators of the LMS system.
  2. Transfer courses and tests for external users to the external portal. From the course card, a special Copy to external portal element will appear.
  3. Copy the link for self-registration by external users. Send it to them.
  4. External users register in the external LMS.
  5. On the external portal, copy the link of the course or test and send the direct link to Course, Test to external users. 
  6. Track results in the internal LMS system.

Danger zone: Portal deletion

At the bottom of the settings of each external LMS is Block Danger zone.

  • Button "Delete LMS" Allows you to completely deactivate and erase the external portal.
  • Consequences: Deletion leads to irreversible loss of all data, including uploaded courses, tests, and results of user training. Data recovery after this operation is impossible.

Note: There is no limit on the number of external systems that can be created or the number of users on them.

Danger zone: Deleting a portal

At the bottom of each external LMS settings, there is Block "Danger zone".

Frequently Asked Questions

Question: Is it possible to add employees to the LMS who are not in the CRM?

Answer:

No. You cannot add it directly because the LMS is embedded within the CRM system. To access the LMS system, you need access to the CRM system.

But there is a solution - the "External Learning" module. It allows creating external LMS linked to the internal LMS, which can be provided to an unlimited number of external users without the risk of internal information leakage from the CRM.

Question: Is it possible to add employees to the LMS who are not in the CRM?

Answer:

Yes, you can. Using the "External Learning" module. You create an external LMS and add employees, partners, and any other external users to it.

Question: What is external and internal LMS?

Answer:

The internal LMS is a learning management system integrated directly into the company's CRM system. Access is granted only to employees who have CRM access. The external LMS is a separate copy of the internal LMS in terms of functionality, hosted on a separate website. It is intended for training external users (partners, clients, etc.) who do not have access to the company's internal CRM, while ensuring data security.

Question: What are the main advantages of using external LMS?

Answer:

Using external LMS platforms allows training an unlimited number of external users without granting them access to the company's internal CRM system, which eliminates the risk of confidential information leakage. It is also possible to create an unlimited number of external portals for different user groups.

Question: What are the consequences of deleting an external LMS?

Answer:

After removing the external LMS, all data and training completion results on this portal will be permanently deleted. They cannot be recovered, so this operation should be approached with caution. Any moderator of the internal LMS can delete the external portal.

Question: How to track the learning outcomes of external users?

The results of external user training and testing can be tracked in two ways:

  1. Directly in the external LMS in the "Reports" section (Settings - Reports).
  2. In the internal LMS, in the "Reports" section, first select the specific external LMS for which reports need to be generated.
