Brusnika LMS - Bigin

Brusnika LMS for Bigin — User Guide

Version: 1.0  |  Product: Brusnika.LMS  |  Platform: Zoho Bigin

Overview

The Brusnika LMS integration for Zoho Bigin allows you to assign and manage employee training directly from your CRM. Once installed, the LMS appears as a widget inside Bigin — no separate login required for your team.

With this integration you can:

  • Assign courses, tests, and learning programs to employees selected from Bigin
  • Automatically create Bigin tasks when training is assigned — with deadlines and details
  • Track training progress: tasks update to In Progress when the learner starts, and Completed when they finish
  • Access the full LMS inside Bigin — no switching between apps

Step 1 — Install the Brusnika LMS Widget

  1. Open the Zoho Bigin Marketplace and search for Brusnika LMS.
  2. Click Install.
  3. Review the permissions requested and click Accept.
The integration only reads basic organisation and user information — it does not access your CRM data, contacts, or deals.
  4. After installation, the Brusnika LMS tab appears in your Bigin navigation under Pipelines.

Step 2 — Open the LMS in Bigin

  1. In Bigin, go to Pipelines and click the Brusnika LMS tab.
  2. The LMS widget loads automatically. On first launch it reads your Bigin account and signs you in — no separate registration or password needed.
  3. If you are the first user from your organisation, you are automatically set up as the Administrator of the LMS portal.

Step 3 — Add Employees (Learners)

1. Employees are pulled directly from Bigin — you do not need to create accounts manually.

Step 4 — Assign Training

  1. Go to Studio → Learning Management → Assignments.
  2. Click New Assignment.
  3. Fill in:
    • Assignment name — for example, "Q3 Compliance Training"
    • Start and end dates
    • Courses / tests — select one or more items from your LMS catalog
    • Employees — select from the list loaded from Bigin
  4. Click Save and send.

As soon as the assignment is saved, the following happens automatically:

  • Each selected employee receives an email notification with the assignment details.
  • A Bigin task is created for each employee with the assignment name, deadline, and instructions on how to access the training.

Step 5 — Track Progress in Bigin

After training is assigned, you can monitor progress directly in Bigin through the tasks that were created automatically.

Task Status in Bigin Meaning
Not Started The employee has not opened the training yet
In Progress The employee has started the course or test
Completed The employee has finished all required items in the assignment

Task statuses update automatically — no manual action needed from the administrator.

You can also view detailed progress inside the LMS widget under Studio → Learning Management → Assignments → [Assignment name].

Step 6 — Employee Experience

When an employee is assigned training:

  1. They receive an email notifying them of the new assignment.
  2. A task appears in their Bigin task list with the assignment name and deadline.
  3. To start learning, they open the Brusnika LMS tab in Bigin (Pipelines section) and go to Assignments.
  4. They click on the assigned course or test and complete it directly inside the LMS widget.

Employees log in automatically using their Bigin account — no separate password is needed.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I assign the same course to multiple employees at once?

Yes. During assignment creation, you can select as many employees as needed. Each receives their own task in Bigin and their own progress is tracked individually.

What happens if an employee leaves the organisation?

If a user is removed from your Bigin organisation, they will no longer be able to log in to the LMS. Their historical progress data remains in the LMS for reporting purposes.

Who can create assignments?

Only users with the Moderator role in the LMS can create and manage assignments. The first user who installs the integration is automatically set as Moderator.

How do I give another user Admin rights in the LMS?

Go to Settings - Moderators, find the employee, and change their role to Moderator.
